Finally....
Okie... And as requested, i shall do an update.
It seems that this blog have been eluded of a proper post for a long time. Mostly due to the fact that i've been writing from the office, thus most of it turn out to the complains and more complains about how much i hate it there and how i want time to fly.
Ok! With that said.... Today i am writing from the comforts of my own room, on my very neglected lappie and very proud to say that...
"I did NOT go to work today!"
Those that know me, especially from sec sch, know that i'm not one that will take 'fake' mc. But in such a circumstance, I think it's justifiable (at least to me in my own weird logic)

REAL Run 2008
Woke up at the crack of dawn, A and J were already reaching my place and i just manage to pull myself outta bed.
It was a long drive to the venue.
It was super hot that day! And unlike the city races, there were hardly any shade from trees or buildings.
So regretted not putting on some proper sunblock!
We were already late and still strolling to the start line. Quite obvious we didn't care much abt winning! Haha...
We were not prepared for this run. Totally unfit, we tried our best to 'run' as much as possible!

Ok ok... maybe it was just another of my excuses to stop running a bit =p

Thank goodness it didn't rain the night before!
At the 1/3 mark and we were exhausted!! 5 down... 10 more to go!!
Omg... why do we sign up for things like these?? Do we enjoy the silent torture??
It was a long long run!
With barely any shade. The sun was just piecing!! The road looked endless....
Finally after dragging one feet in front of the other.....
The end was near....
Crossing that finishing line was a great sigh of relieve!
"We made it in one piece!! Woohoo!!"
All tired and red and burnt from the heat...
At least we can say we made it!!
Well... kindda... (Shh... girls... this is our secret! *wink* haha)
And of cause what is a run without that T-shirt!

Then there was....
Halloween!!
Surprisingly there were a lot more phone calls this yr askig where i'll be...
But this yr...
No dress up...
No parties...
No drinking...
All i wanted was some good company and food!!
So i was really thankful when the msg came at 3plus, confirming that I had a 'date' tonight! (heehee)
I even had my own 'trick or treat'!
Chocolates and candy!!

Just what i needed to brighten up my week!
My 'date' didn't wanna take pictures WITH me... (Blah!)
But was very entu when it came to taking pics OF me...

Dinner was a happy affair...
We walked down the street, hoping to catch some costumes on parade! And we did!! But silly me forgot to snap a few shots. Oh well...
I was so glad that it was the weekends!
Mostly because i was going for a Musical!!
Planned it over a week ago... It was a spur of the moment decision and we just went for it!
I'm really glad we decided to do it! I really enjoyed myself!!
After collecting the tickets, we had some good old hawker food!
Give me my carrot cake and sting ray any day! *yum*
Walked around a bit and it was time for the show!
Was expecting some light hearted humor and some poking around at certain issues.
But it turned out the show had quite a touching story line to it. A simple reflection on things we faced. And the reality of this cruel world we live in.
I should stop here, shan't spoilt it for anyone who's gonna watch it.
But lets just say that besides the scenes that made me laugh so hard, there were those that made me think, and some that made me cry.
Oh... and i love the songs! The lyrics were well written and the humor in it was just exquisite!
"Give me another ticket and i'll watch it again!"
There should have been more pics but i think it's in my 'date's' camera. So ya...
I had an awesome night!
Some Singapore food, great company and a wonderful musical!
