I'm Home!!

Shopping was great as usual.
Bought loads!
Ate much...
It was just great hanging out with Daph

As much fun as it was,
I'm glad to be home!
There's much to be said...
Much to be done...
And for now... Much packing to clear...

i logged on cause i wanted to blog
But as i watch the rain come and go...
Staring at the screen...
I realise that there is nothing to say!

hmm.... okie... I guess i can bitch abt Sunday's interview
Some of you have (already) heard about it
Ok... for those who don't know yet...
Last Sunday i went for SIA cabin crew interview!!
Yes! It's out... Fiona wants (wanted) to be a stewardess!
(laugh all you want you evil friends.... haha)

Jas wanted to go so i see no harm in following her. Even if it's just to keep her company.
And after always talking about it. I guess that giving it a shot wasn't too bad an idea.
At least i can say i tried it before!
Met so many friends from school there. Didn't know that so many was interested in becoming an SIA girl too.

The first round was like a mass interview
About 10 of us in a room with 2 interviewers
We were suppose to stand up and introduce ourselves and talk a bit about why we wanted to join SIA.
This was when all the cheesy and politically correct answer arose...
Do you know how hard it is to pretend to listen and look interested in what other people is saying and try to think about what to say all at the same time!!
But i guess when it's your turn to speak, somehow you'll think of what to say.

Second round was the kabaya round.
Aster "warned" me about this round! She said that i have to be quick to find one that will fit.
So i die-die also chiong for the kabaya lor....
I found myself one and still had time to help Jas find hers too
But i think my top was a little big.... Oh well...
This round i feel it's an ultimate bimbo round la!
"Ok, now walk towards me."
"Walk back and come forward again"
"Hmmm.... ok."
Then they wil shine these 2 super super bright big spot light into you face and inspect every single inch!
"Ok, look to your left. Look to you right."
"Ok, now turn around. Turn back."
"Alright now stretch out your arms. Turn it around"
I tell you.... they will scrutinise and pin-point every visible part of your body and face lor...
Every dot, every scratch, every almost-non-existence scar... No mercy at all!
"What's this?"
"How did you get it?"
Then they will give you that "Hmmm...." and look at you as if you got an alien growing on top of your head!

Anyway...
I only made it to this round....
Then they kicked me out...
Looks like i'm not SIA girl material
Don't think i'll try again (although many says that i should)
I guess after going through this interview and looking at some of the girls there and how they really want it so bad! (some went for the interview like 4 times!!)
I realise that this isn't something that i really want after all
I rather be sitting in a plane then serving on one!
Hahaha...

But at least now i can said i tried it before!

Wow! It's been another busy-ful week!
Amazing as usual, with the same crowd and familiar places

This week the girls went to our 2nd mugging home to reminisce about the times when we spent our endless nights there. But this time to savour the sweet moments of just slacking!
Spent the nights just talking and bitching and simply enjoying the company.

Jon came back (with a friend) so hanged out a bit....
Tuesday eating marathon (not for me) was really something!
Chicken rice, Sardine puff and Bubble tea at Far East
Kong ba bao and california handroll at Tangs
Crystal jade chicken wing and that octopus ball thing at Taka
Then dinner almost straight after!
WOW!!
Oh... then drinks at Liquid after
Finally gotta see Aster! Missed her loads...

Then Jas Agnes and I went (all the way to clementi) to take pictures!

Met Jon and the rest (again) for another night out!

Then it was the highlight of the week!

Then today was THE INTERVIEW
*story for another time*

The *ucking CB called today!!
Damn annoyed!!
*uck!!
(elaboration is on a need to know basis - those who knows what i'm talking abt call me for update)

But the one good thing is that now i know how i really feel.
No more second guessing myself anymore.

It's been busy busy!
Busy having fun!! (haha.. okie... i know some of you wanna kill me right now...)

Days been filled with shopping
and training
and shopping
and exercising
and teaching
and shopping
and chilling
and mamboing
and oh ya... we had a little bbq too!

Our usual Wednesday fix
It was an interesting (and equally pei seh) night.
All that dancing was crazy...
But it was damn loads of fun fun fun!!

I don't see how else it can be with this bunch of girls!

Wednesday is the new Sunday!
Woohoo!!

Like as if mamboing is not enough to drain me out....
Been dragging my laziness bum to get back into the exercising mood!
Trying to make it for as many training sessions as possible
This Monday i finally (finally!!) received my birthday present! (yes i know it was months back)

This is one crazy ex investment!!
(I really hope it's worth it)

Took it for a spin...
and look at what it left me!

*major sadness!!*

Just once only lor... But... aiya! Spilled milk la...

Then there is yoga - which is going good!
Today the teacher taught me how to breath properly.
Who would have thought that there's a right and wrong way to breath!
Hmmm...

Ran and did the regular exercise
Gearing up for the big day!
Mentally and physically and (of cause) aesthetically!!
(yes yes.. coming from me... what's new right! haha)

I call it my new Shape shoes!

Been eyeing it for months!!
Finally got it... And i'm really happy with it!
Hope it'll help me complete my race and not die...
(Well at least if i do die... my feet will look pretty! Hahaha!!)

And there was the BBQ
Jas and I just suddenly decided we needed a post-exam BBQ
So we booked the pit and got the food!!
A simple (aka budget) affair

But the food was great (thanks to Jas's lovely Mummy)


and the company was amazing!

This phase have given me strength countless of times.
And i still really do believe.

Today i went for my first ever yoga class

Now when they say that yoga clams and relaxes you... I believe!
You can almost just fall asleep in class la
Looking forward to the next! *yay!*

Oh.. Wed is coming again....

I have lost all concept of Days.
I'm still ok with dates... But Days... I just don't get it anymore...
I just know what i have to do/go/meet today and maybe tomorrow
But i don't know what Day it is...
Like last time, i know what Wed is training day. Sat and Sun is teaching day
But now... I don't know when is Wed or Sat or Sun
It was so bad that i forgot to wake up yesterday and today for my morning classes...
The mother had to call la...
Super peiseh!
Die... I need to get everything tune back proper!


So in the meantime, pls forgive if i forget anything.

No more studying means we can do anything we want!

After a while, Agnes and I headed of some dancing in the other room
(it was too early to mambo…)
The place was packed (as usual)
Met a group of her friends there
Friends are friends. And anything goes man!

I don’t know what took over me…
Must have been coop up for too long! (Haha…)

But just felt sick suddenly… I just had to get out.
(I’m thinking it was the meddie I took before leaving the house… oh well…)

Well… There were certain things that happened…

The flu have been shoo-ed away...
The temperature’s gone...
I believe that here is where the real party

(Somehow i think it's gonna be even more tiring then when i just had to study...haha)

Now that I FINALLY finish studying…
It feels werid waking in the morning… Like there’s something missing… something that you’re suppose to be doing but don’t have to do anymore…
I guess it was like what Mars told me the last night that I was mugging
“Savour these last few moments. You’ll miss it”
I didn’t believe him then, but now I so understand.

Now that it’s all over,
It’s time where the other important things in my life take over this void.

(Partying aside)

Nationals is coming up and I really hope I’ll be prepared for it in time. That means have to tune back to some serious training! (“Aunties” I think I’ll need a lot of mental and emotional support here)

Of cause all my kiddies have been (mentally) neglected by me… So it’s time to give them the much needed attention again.

Been neglecting all my girlies too (I know they were sweet enough not to disturb during my mugging phase – Thanks babe! But now can call and disturb any time! Haha…) I bet there’s tons of updating to be done!

And my ever supportive family! I miss having proper dinners with them. And watching TV and talking nonsense with Mummy. Car rides with Daddy… and gaming with the Boys…

I guess now I’ll have time for all these =)
