When i looked at the list of countries involved i didn't see Singapore.
At that point i thought it'll be a cool idea if we could also be a part of it.
But my email was in vain as they needed organisation support
(and i was basically too lazy to do anything)
So i just took a mental note of the date and time, and closed the window.
Then today i stumbled upon this;
Singapore was gonna be apart of EARTH HOUR!!

even facebook is getting in on the action
Here's an idea of what's it about:
At 8pm on the 29 March, 2008,
Millions of people in some of the world’s major capital cities, including Copenhagen, Toronto, Chicago, Melbourne, Brisbane, Tel Aviv and Manila will unite and switch off for Earth Hour.
On 31 March 2007, 2.2 million people and 2100 Sydney businesses turned off their lights for one hour – Earth Hour. This massive collective effort reduced Sydney’s energy consumption by 10.2% for one hour, which is the equivalent effect of taking 48,000 cars off the road for one hour.
With Sydney icons like the Harbour Bridge and Opera House turning their lights off, and unique events such as weddings by candlelight, the world took notice. Inspired by the collective effort of millions of Sydneysiders, many major global cities are joining Earth Hour in 2008, turning a symbolic event into a global movement.

So be involved in Earth Hour and turn off their lights for

It's like how we have one body to take care of.
We only have one Earth to depend on!
So I'm gonna do my part and get involved.
