Went for Mitch's mid term "party" yesterday.
It was fun!
Always great to catch up with her...
Everyone brought/cooked yummy food!
And we all had a feast!
Had a bit of drinks
Played silly games
And shared stories.

Mitch and Yuki surprised me yesterday
and I had the BEST cake (of the year)!
It definitely wins all the others hands down any time!
Why??
Cause Mitch (yes.. the Mitch who a hazard in the kitchen) made it for me!!

Was really super touched la!

It may not be the prettiest cake...
Nor would other ppl think that it's nice in anyway
But to me...

It was the yummiest bestest prettiest cake ever!!

There's only one word to describe today's class...
Damn saddening-ly pathetic la!

The whole class was packed!

First time i don't see a single seat available la!
All the lecturer's fault la...
He opened up the class to ppl that are not originally from this time slot.

Some were even relegated to sit on the steps!

Good thing Agnes suggested we go find chairs.
And of cause we (kindda) bullied the guys to carry it for us. (heehee!)

Oh... Finally cut the cake last night.
(yes i know it's late.. but ya... long story...)

And yes! It's really as yummy as it looks (and smell)
There's like a layer of coco powder (yes! powder!)...
and a layer of biscuit (kindda thing)...
and of cause cake la...
and choco mousse...
and choco fudge...
Oh... you get the idea la...


There was this plastic pipe thing under the 4 round dots.
Don't really know why it's there.. But ya...
Interesting la!

But it was a huge cake la...
So good things must share right!
Pass some to my neighbour
And she's so cute la...
She told my mum:
" Wah thanks for the cake again! (we gave them some cake last week too)
Next time if you move must tell me where, then i'll go move beside you again!"

Anyway,
There's still more in the fridge.
But looking at the rate my brother is going... I don't think it'll be in there much longer!

Yesterday, I was treated to a really nice meal
It was like too late to be lunch but too early for dinner.
But when we finished there was no space left for dinner... so yup!
It was a meal

Anyway, I never expected you to "ask me out"
But it was a pleasant surprise
And the place (though simple) was great!
It was something new (We had porridge steamboat! yes... porridge!)
And the food was fresh!
So i really enjoyed myself!

And although there are more pressing matters (*ahem* exams *ahem*) to attend to, it always seem like a valid reason to slack of for a day or 2 (or 3! haha)

Family gathering!!

It wasn't suppose to be for me, just a random get together
But some aunties found out that my birthday was around the corner, and word spread like wildfire!! I felt so bad, cause i didn't wanna bother anyone about it. Anyway, it was no biggie... Everyone still had a good time (i hope)
There was good food!!
Great company!!
And loads of drinking!!
Had a blast catching up with my cousins. (didn't get to see many of them during CNY)


Isaac was the pin-up boy for the day!!

In the afternoon when we were swimming, Isaac (who can't really speak very well yet) wanted me to swim with him....
He didn't know how to ask, so he started taking off my cap and nudging me to the pool.

My Aunts and Cousins wouldn't much help when they told him that i had to take off my shirt first. That clever boy! Started taking my shirt out for me!! (sounds like a little pervert la!! hahaha...) But he was so so cute la!! Everyone couldn't stop laughing!!


Then i taught him how to blow bubbles!! And yup he is one smart smart boy! Learnt it in 5mins! *beam with pride*



Then he came up and "attacked" my bear bears!

Ok... Then it was Sunday.
Spent the whole day teaching as usual. Nothing special.
Other then my "kill me pls" class is actually improving!!
But then again there's this new boy that just joined... Oh that a story for another time....

Monday had school the whole day!!
Took a little time off to lunch with Liwei.
He brought me to Bukit Timah market for yummy carrot cake!! (my fav!)
Nice nice!! I must go back for more!


Then in the evening, Met WS ppl and Leonard for a massive dinner!!!

We ate and ate and ate!!

Like Daph said: "it's like another challenge all over again!" (referring to the overnight swim) Then Jeremy said that: "We must have a strategy for this too!"

The challenge for that night was to eat from the buffet start till we got chased out!!
And we started strong! I was in awe of the spread (just as i am with any buffet)
We didn't manage to eat the full 4hours!
But we surely seat there till they had to politely asking us to scram!!

Mummy decided to be nice and bring me out for Lunchie!
Wanted to try this forever-packed place at katong, but Mum missed the turn on the PIE
and i just randomly said: "Why not we go check out T3!"

And there we were!

There were wide spaces and shops dotting all over the place!

Came home to laze around a bit more.
But just as i was settling down to watch some good'ol TV!

Then the doorbell rang!

With "???" i opened the door only to be presented with this

The delivery man ask me to check my order
But i told him that i didn't know what it was.
He told me to look anyway!

I didn't dare carry in la...
Good thing my brother was there to help me

Girl: "Err... A frog?? You mean a cake right? Yes, you can eat it. There's cake inside."

Me: "Oh... So i have to cut the frog la?"

Girl: "Yup!"
Me: "Ok... It doesn't sound too right... But thanks anyway."

Like cut the frog!! It to nicely made to be cut open la!!! (Ok... now it sounds more gross... haha!)

Well,
After the laughing died down a bit I looked closer at the cake
And it is really well made.

Wow!! Today was a really nice conclusion to a whole sting of activities that i was so looking forward to. There's some pictures to upload and tons to write... But i'm so tired to do anything now. The lack of sleep is seriously kicking in. I guess the best thing about everything, above all the meetings i was so looking forward to, there's so many other small surprises from the most unexpected people poping up from the most unlikely of places. And i guess it all somehow adds up.

It's been a weird but damn awesome weekend so far.

The prelude party at minds was a nice start.

Then last night was just crazy!
I have never experience something like this before
(and i don't think i really want to ever repeat that again)
*sorry but i don't feel like blogging abt that event. want to keep it personal*
But i must thank all that went through that with me. It wouldn't be the same if it's any other ppl.

With what little sleep and lack of food,
(hence the reason for the lack of pictures)
I had to prepare for tonight's event.
I like these simple and "for nothing in particular" gatherings.
Especially if almost everyone made the effort to come.
Hey... it's no joke trying to plan a party that can accommodate to 50+ people!
But it was all worthwhile
We all got to catch up, reminisce about the past, talk about the future and basically enjoy each other's company.
I'm glad that everyone enjoyed themselves.
And i really hope that we can have things like these more often.
Like Dad said, if we had something like once a year,it will take almost 10 years for everyone to have a chance to host! Even if it's twice, it will still be a 5 year cycle!

Now i'm looking forward to round 3!
*i have a feeling that this will be a picture-ful event - look out for update*

On a more private note;

Today i came to a conclusion that somethings are better left as it is.
The harder you push and the more you want it a certain way, the more it will turn out the opposite and 10times worse then what you originally had.
So, maybe it's time to stop pushing and move on...

On a brighter side,
the whole "everything cannot be trusted thing" i posted a while back,
well it's been resolved with a pleasant ending.
But... getting to know the story more in depth
I only can concluded one thing,
"All men are bloody bastards! And you're no exception!"
But this is from a very feminist point of view
and you know i still love you right.
But somethings will never change.
(those that know, know. And those that doesn't, don't ask)

The only good thing that came out of this all is that, i'm glad we can still talk and share such stuff.
I enjoy our talks and the way we communicate.
And i guess, thanks for trusting me enough to tell me everything.
And no matter how much you sway,
i trust that you will know how to make the right decision in the end.

Another abt a girl who picked her nose in secret and wipe it on ppl's back
And one abt a girl who liked to rip out door knobs with a golden hammer...
It was all madness answers la....
