Mr. Potter have been evaluated.
Overall it was ok for me. Not as visually stimulating as the previous few.
But still good nonetheless.
With the natural maturing of the cast (it's nice to see a better looking cast, compared to a childish looking one), the story line did grow with them.
The plot was thicker, the emotions stronger, and of cause there was the hint of romance as promise.
But after all the hype abt this latest installment, i was actually hoping for much more.
I, personally have not read the book.
Because i know that i would have been disappointed otherwise.
Much the same as every other book that have been turned into a movie, somehow the true essence will get lost.
So with HP, i've decided not to read an of the book before the movie. I wanna be able to enjoy the movie in ignorant bliss.
The half blood prince was watched with someone that have already read all the HP books. Thus know the story in it's original form.
In between the show, i will get comments like, "They just cut off a whole chunk!" or "There's suppose to be more building up to this!"
Of cause curiosity always gets to me... and i can't help asking tons of questions!
Thankfully my questions were dutifully answered and the person beside me didn't get irritated with all our whispering.
One thing good about watching with someone that already knows the story, there's someone the explain to me what's going on.
So, my conclusion:
Is it worth a second watch?
Not really. But it certainly make you anxious about the next installment!
