Today I am going to complain about service.
Not just any service... but the kind of service you get at the more atas (aka high class) places.
Have you ever walked into a branded boutique, only to have the service staff there eye you up and down? Or worse still... sneer at you, and give you the "you sure you can afford anything here" look! I'm sure many of us have gone through this at least once before. How we might have handled it could have differed, but we've been there.
So my stories goes like this,
Tai Tai X decided that she wanted to get a new apartment. So she called up her housing agent to fix and appointment to view this very new and very very prestigious condo (lets call it SR)
Tai Tai X did not like shopping alone and wanted a second opinion, so decided to ask a few of her friends along for the viewing.
Dressed in their causal clothes and un-branded bags, they walked into SR show flat.
Immediately the 2 sales rep there gave them the once over (with their eyes)
Unimpressed with what she saw (remember... no visible brands in sight) she greeted them with a arrogant "hello, how may i help you".
The usual proceedings followed...
The sale rep explained the concept and structure, but she would answer every question with a certain air. It felt like having someone talk down to you, and giving the "i don't think you understand what i'm saying" tone
Getting a little pissed off... Tai Tai X went on to ask if there was space for a wet kitchen (despite being a tai tai, she liked to cook)
The sale rep's answer, "No. There isn't one. Normally people who choose this property hardly cook"
*SHOCKED*
Controlling herself from just stomping off, Tai Tai X shot back and said "So i guess there's no need for a washing machine too cause people who stay here don't do their own laundry too right!?"
There was silence....
Continued walking around...
At the end, Tai Tai X turn to her housing agent and exclaim, "Actually i was really interested in this property, however due to certain factors i've changed my mind."
With that, she and her friends walked out but not before giving the 2 sales rep a once over.
If attitude was a little better, Tai Tai X was all ready to sign. But not.... Too bad! She can kiss her fat commission good bye! Haha...
It was also heard that the next day, this service staff got into trouble with the management. (But it was not Tai Tai X that complained) Hmm.... If someone else did, that says a lot about her....
And from the sounds of it, i think she can kiss this job good bye!
Well.... Morale of the story is; don't look down on anyone that walks through your doors.
Like what they say, It's not the LV that matters but what's inside the LV that counts!
*** I don't know the point of this story. But i was bored....
Well, i wouldn't be so bored very soon, and i don't know how many more random posts i can write.
The next phase is coming. I'm scare, excited and anxious all at the same time.
Wish me luck and Pray for me!
Nationals is around the corner. Raise your hands if you're prepared!
